i went shopping for new novels to read tdy :) after reading the twilight series, i had to take a break. the super thick volumes were too much to digest in a short period of time. n frankly, it wasnt as good as i thought it would be. some parts were really boring.

so i was combing thru borders tdy and i came acrose tis book!

ppz

i had to buy it! being a fan of the english classic novel – pride and prejudice, this title itself seems hilarious! whenever i come across a novel or movie with any relevance or reference to the original… i would want to read/watch it. i’ve read ‘me and mr. darcy’, i’ve watch 2 versions of ‘pride and prejudice’ the movie and also ‘being jane austen’.

for a period of time, i was in love with colin firth, because he acted as mr. darcy in the 1996 version… so suave, so aloof. i simply lurve the brit accent. i tot jennifer ehle as elizabeth bennet was a total mismatch! if only i could be her, haha. 2005 saw another new version, keira knightley was chosen for the role of elizabeth bennet. in the good ‘ol days, a lady like herself wouldn’t be deemed as a beauty, bcoz she’s too skinny! so this appeared to be a mash of a classic english story, with a modern cast, haha. but i lurve knightley nonetheless. on the contrary, this time, i tot matthew macfadyen as darcy was totally wrong! no charm at all.

anywayz, back to this novel… its a parody of the original classic. so excited, i’m gonna go read it now, keke. reviews later!
